An open shift is a shift that is approved but has not been assigned to an employee. You will see open shifts you are qualified for and available to work on your My Shifts tab.

There are two types of open shifts.

In this case, the first employees applying to the shift will be assigned to the available shift.

Your employer will be notified that you have taken the slot.

In this case, the employees will notify the employer that they would like to take the shift. However, it's not guaranteed that you'll be assigned to the shift.

You'll receive a notification when your employer has notified you of their decision.
